The Manifestation Pagoda

Pagoda image The pagoda is a gazebo and is stunningly modeled after a Moroccan caravan tent in its look and feel, which also happens to fall in line with the theme of Burning Man from 2014, ‘caravansary’. While the Manifestation Station provides an overt opportunity for exploring one’s desires and dreams in an intimate manner through interaction, and the Manifestation Wall provides an opportunity for public expression of ones wishes and actually brings physicality to them through words and pictures, the pagoda provides a private, more internal opportunity for exploring one’s aspirations.

Inside the pagoda, one can sit, reflect, meditate, rest, or whatever one chooses. The space is decorated, made conducive for these more inward pursuits, with low tables, many pillows and the beautifully painted and themed, Manifestation Box. Manifestation Box image Visitors can take time, contemplate and if they desire, write their dreams, wishes, intentions and anything they can image they want to manifest and place them in the box. On the night of the Temple burn, the paper in the box and all the desires so written will be burned, returning the ideas, intentions and wishes to the ether, where manifestation starts, in thought, as the idea of the dreamer.
